An Org profile page is composed of the following:
First: the information card
It includes your Org's profile picture and a brief description about your organization such as the website & phone number of the org.
You can from this information card do the following:
- Change the Profile Picture & cover photo of the Org.
As previously mentioned in this chapter (Add a profile picture & Cover photo)
- Change the org name:
If you haven't verified your org's Identity yet, then you can change its name, otherwise it's impossible to change it!
To change the name of your org from the information card in your org profile:
- click on "
" from beside the name of the org in the information card:
- You'll be redirected the overview page to edit it
- click on "
Second: the profile tabs
These Tabs are:
- The About Tab: it includes the information you entered in the about pages above such as the contact info, your social and academic links, your innovation interests...etc.
- The achievements tab: it provides you with detailed information about your org's performance on the platform:
The details previewed in the achievements tab are:
- Network & Professional metrics: it shows metrics related to your Org profile such as:
- No of followers: it shows the number of people who follow the user.
- R&D age: which shows the period you spent in the research work, it calculates the period between the last work you added and the first one.
- No of Outputs: this shows the count of the added works to the platform by this user.
- Social activities: it shows metrics about your social activity at the platform:
- Posts: It counts the number of posts you added to this platform
- Likes: it counts the number of likes you got on your posts
- Users Comments: it counts the number of comments you got from users on your posts
- Profile Views: it shows how many times your profile has been viewed.
- Network & Professional metrics: it shows metrics related to your Org profile such as:
- Works Tab: it lists your works and the information you added about them.
- Ids tab: this tab shows you all of your Ids; the ones you added manually through the "add work" functionality we illustrated above and the org's Id on the platform "JOIN Id"
- Links tab: it shows all of the links that you added to your org profile; the Social, the personal and the Academic links.
- Posts Tab: in this tab you can:
- Find all of the posts you posted on your org profile.
- Add a new post, by clicking on the add post area:
Third: the left side menu
The left side menu includes the following buttons:
- The about pages: these are the pages in which you can edit the general information of your profile such as the innovation interests & contact info (As explained in topic no. 2 above: Add your information to the about pages).
- The customers & Services: here you can add & edit the previously added customers & services on your org profile.
- The Innovation outputs & works:
- Outputs & works guide: this is a guide that shows you how you can add your works to the platform & how sourcing data on JOIP occurs:
- Works: here you can add your works to the platform (as illustrated in chapter 7: JOIP Works)
- The organization Ids:
- The IDs guide: it includes two guides telling you what are the Ids accepted at JOIP, what is the Ids system at JOIP, and how sourcing the data of Ids occurs.
- The "Organization IDs"
It includes the IDs added for the organization (as illustrated above)
- The "organization Notifications"
The organization Notifications button is located on the left side menu in your Org profile:
This button when clicked will open the notifications page, which includes the notifications received by the org whether for comments, likes, or any kind of notification:
- The Org Followers
JOIP provides you with the feature of knowing how many followers your org has & who they are!
You can check your followers by clicking on the "Followers" button on the left side menu:
When you click the "Followers" button, the followers' page will display as shown in the figure above.
