How can I create an org profile?

To create an org profile you need to:

1. login to your researcher profile at JOIP
2. You'll be by default redirected to the JOIP feed page
3. From the JOIP apps side menu click on "Create Organization":
4. The "Create org" form will show to you:

If your org has a Ringgold ID

1. Enter the org's Ringgold Id (if existed!)                                                                                                 **Ringgold Id: The Ringgold Identifier is a unique numerical identifier applied to organizations in the scholarly supply chain
2. In case your org has a "Ringgold Id", you can click on the "fetch" button from beside the Ringgold Id field to automatically.
3. If the ID was entered correctly, then the system will fetch your org's data and populate it in the "add organization" form:
4. You can edit the fetched info & fill in the remaining fields.
5. The mandatory fields here are: the "Organization Name" & the "Organization Type"
6. Click on "Save" when you're done.

You'll be redirected to your newly created org profile, where you can notice the following details populated in your org profile fetched from your org's profile on Ringgold:

If your Org doesn't have a Ringgold Id

1. • Type your Organization name.

   ** This field is mandatory

2. Choose the type of your organization from the dropdown list.

   **it's mandatory

3. Enter the org's foundation date.
4. Type the website of the org (if exists)
5. Enter the email address of your org.
6. Enter your country code number
7. Add the phone number of your org.
8. Enter the address of the org; the country & city
9. Click on "Save"
10. Once your org profile is created, you'll be redirected to the profile of your org.
