First: A navigation bar
The navigation bar includes:
- JOIP Logo which whenever clicked you'll be redirected to home feed of JOIP.
- A Dynamic Search bar, where you can type whatever text you want to search for in JOIP's verified researchers profiles, verified Orgs Profiles, and works of verified users.
- Your name, when this button is clicked you'll always be redirected to your profile page
- Home, when you click this button you'll be redirected to your home feed page (JOIP feed)
- My network Notifications button, anything related to your network will pop here, such as the network add requests, or approved add requests…etc.
- My messages button, a private messaging tool that shows the chats between you & other users.
- The notifications button, any updates that are related to your profile will pop here, such as comments and likes of others on your posts and the "add to network" requests…etc.
- Logout Button, when you click here, you'll be logged out of your profile and redirected to the Landing page of JOIP.
Second: the information card
It includes your profile picture and a brief description about you such as your job and education.
From this card you can add your profile picture and cover photo.
Third: the profile tabs
These Tabs are:
- The About Tab: it includes the information you entered in the about pages such as the contact info, your social and academic links...etc.
- The achievements tab: it provides you with detailed information about your performance on the platform:
The details previewed in the achievements tab are:
- Profile Health & Professional metrics: it shows metrics related to your profile such as:
- Profile visibility: A Percentage Calculated based on the amount of Profile Information set to public privacy.
- R&D age: which shows the period you spent in the research work, it calculates the period between the last work you added and the first one.
- No of Outputs: this shows the count of the added works to the platform by this user
- My Network: it shows details about your network:
- No of connections: number of the contacts you have connected with.
- No of followers: it shows the number of people who follow the user.
- of following: the count of users you're following
- No of collaborators: the count of users who have collaborations in your works
- Social activities: it shows metrics about your social activity at the platform:
- Posts: It counts the number of posts you added to this platform
- Likes: it counts the number of likes you got on your posts
- Users Comments: it counts the number of comments you got from users on your posts
- Profile Views: it shows how many times your profile has been viewed
- Works: it lists your works and the information you added about them.
- Ids: this tab shows you all of your Ids; the ones added to work items you manually added to JOIP and the Ids that have been fetched automatically from ORCID.
- Links: it shows all of the links that you added to your profile; the Social, and the personal and Academic links.
- Posts: this tab includes all of the posts you posted on your profile and the ones you're tagged in.
You can from this tab perform the following actions on the already added posts:
- Like posts
- Comment on posts
- Edit posts
- Delete posts
- "More" drop-down menu: it includes buttons for the following:
- Employments
- Qualifications
- Educations
- Invited Positions
- Distinctions
- Memberships
- Services
- Referrals
When any of these buttons is clicked its relative page will display in the user profile page
