The messenger page

First: how to reach the messenger page?

You can reach the messenger page using the messenger Buttons which are located in different areas in your profile, and these areas are as follows:

1. 1. In the left side menu in your feed page:
   2. The messages button in the header
   3. On the information card on each JOIP researcher profile:

Second: The messenger page structure

The messenger page consists of:

1. The conversations list: it includes the conversations you had with the other researchers, so whenever a message pops it'll add to the conversation of the user in the conversations list (if any)
2. The messages area: in this area all the messages you send or receive from & to a specific researcher show.
3. The message entry area: in this area you can type the messages you want & attach the files you want using the available attachment buttons.
4. The recipient information: in this part of the messenger you can see:
   • The profile picture of the recipient.
   • The user name of the recipient.
   • The status of the recipient
   • Add to network button (if not already added)
   • Bookmark button (if not already bookmarked)
