Sending Referral Requests

First: How to Request a referral?

To request a referral from someone, check if s/he's in your network, if s/he's from your network, then:

1. go to his/her profile and click on the 3 dots settings button, and then click on "Ask for Referral":
2. Fill in the referral request form that shows:                    **As you can see all fields in this form are mandatory

3. Once you fill the form click on "Send Request"

   The user who received the request will get a notification on his/her profile of this request, and you'll wait until this user answers your request.

Second: How to check the status of your referral requests?

To check on your request and its status:

1. Go to "Referrals" and then click on the "referral requests" button from the left side menu in your profile.
2. Click on "Sent Referral Requests" and check on the request you sent:

   In this tab, all the requests you sent will show, from which you can:

   • Cancel a request you sent
   • Check the status of the requests you sent
   • Check the referral request message you sent and the subject of this referral and its date.
3. If your request got accepted, a notification that your request is accepted will pop up to you:                When you click the notification, you'll be redirected to the referrals page and the referral window will open:
4. you can find the referral in "my referrals" page
5. you can in "my referrals" page as you can see in the figure above:
   • rate a referral you got
   • Delete the referral.
   • Change the privacy settings of the referral.

Third: How would I know that my referral request got accepted?

If your request got accepted, a notification that your request is accepted will pop up to you

When you click the notification, you'll be redirected to the referrals page and the referral window will open:

Fourth: What actions I can do on the referrals in "my Referrals" Page?

you can in "my referrals" page:

• 1. rate a referral you got:
  2. delete the referral:
  3. change the privacy settings of the referral:

Fifth: What will happen for my referral request in my profile when it gets declined?

When the requester clicks on the "sent requests" page in his/her profile, the request's status will still be "pending":

** be noted that this request's status will be changed from "pending" to "unanswered" after 7 days from the date of sending the request.
