First: How can I follow a researcher on JOIP?
Sometimes you don't want to add the researchers to your network for privacy concerns maybe, but you want their public posts to appear in your timeline, this is why JOIP gives you the choice to follow researchers.
To follow a certain researcher, do the following:
- From the researcher profile, click on the 3 dots on the right, where a drop-down menu will show.
- Click on the "follow" button.

- Now you're following this researcher, and he'll show in your network under the following tab, and under the individuals tab:

When I follow a researcher, this will happen:
- The public posts of the researcher I follow will display in my timeline
- My posts will never show to him/her unless he followed me back, so if he started following me, then my public posts will display in his timeline.

Second: Where to find the Researchers who follow me (followers)?
- Go to your profile page.
- From the left side menu in your profile, you'll find the network section at the bottom of it.
- Click on "Following".
- Select the "followers" Tab.
