First: Where to find the received requests?
- Go to your profile page.
- From the left side menu in your profile, you'll find the network section at the bottom of it.
- Click on "Requests"
- Select the " Received Requests" Tab
Second: Accepting/ Rejecting requests using the network notifications button
To reach the requests you received from other researchers:
- Go to the network notifications icon on the navigation bar:
- Click on the received request you want
- You'll be redirected to this person's profile page, and given two choices; you either accept or reject his request:
- If you accept his request, he'll be a contact in your network as you'll be in his.
- If you reject his request, then he'll be removed from the received requests tab in your profile and from the network notifications as well, and he'll be like any other contact that isn't connected with you on the platform.
Third: Accepting/ Rejecting Requests from the received requests tab
to accept or reject a referral request, do the following:
- Go to your profile
- From the left side menu, click on "Requests"
- Click on the received requests tab:
- Accept or Reject the request you want.
- If you accepted the request, you'll be in the network of this contact, and you'll also see him/her in your network.
Third: Rejecting a Connection Request
When you reject a connection request you receive from a researcher:
- The "Accept" and "Reject" buttons will go and be replaced with a "connect" button
- The researcher can again send you a connection request
