Services are significant donations of your time, money, or other resources to an organization or community. This can also include voluntary work.

Examples of services include:

• Volunteer society officer
• Elected board position
• Standards body member
• Expert panel member
• Editorial board member
• Review editor
• Study group member
• Conference organizer
• Conference panel chair
• Committee work
• Project work
• Extension work

First: Add a Service

To add a Service, follow these steps:

• Select " Services" from under the "employment & Education" in the left side menu:

• From the page that shows, click on the "+" button or on the " Add Service" button:

• From the window that shows, fill at least the required fields:

** The required fields are: the organization name, country, and city

1. Organization Name: The organization you are or were affiliated with
2. Engagement Title: the type of service you're offering
3. Department: this could be a panel, project, working group, journal, or other.
4. URL: A website URL related to your invited position with the organization
5. Country: The country or territory of the organization. This is a required field.
6. City: City where the organization is located. This is a required field.
7. Start Date: The start date of your relationship with the organization. For example, the date that you started your term as a board member. It is strongly encouraged to add at least a year to your service affiliation to increase veracity
8. End Date: The end date of your relationship with the organization, for example, when you rotated off a Board or panel. If you are still involved with the organization, you do not need to supply an end date.
9. Profession: the type of profession this Service relates to.
10. Profession Sub Type: the sub type of the profession above
11. Innovation Subject Areas: add the Innovation Subject Area(s) these services cover.

• After you fill the required fields, click on "Save"

Second: Edit a Service

If you have previously added a Service and you want to make some changes to it, and then do the following:

• Go to the Service you want to edit, and click on the edit Button:

• The "Edit Membership" window will open:

• Do the edits & modifications you want and click on "Save".

Third: Delete a Service

To delete a Service from your profile, do the following:

• Go to the Service you want to delete, and click on the delete button:

• A deletion confirmation message will show:

• Click on "Confirm"
